iOS SDK
In-app
The SDK asks for a card when the app becomes active. Call a named card yourself with Xulo.call.
On an open
There is nothing to add. After Xulo.start, the SDK asks for a card each time the app becomes active, and draws it if one matches. While the app stays in the foreground it does not ask again.
A named card
Call a card by its name at the moment you choose:
Swift
Xulo.call("checkout")
The card has to be published, and its rule has to be An event with the same name. A card with no trigger never matches.
The call is not stored. It asks once, at that moment, whether this device has a card for that name.
What the SDK does
- It draws the card natively, in one of four placements: center window, full screen, top banner or bottom banner.
- It shows one card at a time.
- It counts impressions, dismissals and button clicks, keeps them on the device, and sends them in the background or with the next card request.
- A button link goes to Xulo.onOpen first.
Cards do not need push permission. See In-app cards for the rules and placements.
